Find Money Keywords

If you have followed closely with the steps on niche research and niche demand assessment, now you should have a selected niche in front of you.

In this section, you’ll learn how to find money keywords for your niche.

1. Understand keyword intent

  • You need to understand why people type specific keywords in search engine.
  • Most searches are non-commercial, have no commercial intent.  People simply look for information, solutions to their problems or help to their health and so on.
  • Once you understand people’s intent, you need to make sure you have content or offers on your site to help them meet their end goals.

2. The length of the keyword tells people’s intent

  • Generic words/fewer words in the keyword phrase= less clear meanings
  • For example: learn Chinese.  You can’t tell if people are looking for college, software or books to buy.
  • Specific words/more words in the keyword phrase=more precise meanings=Money Keyword
  • For example: learn Chinese lesson online.  It tells us people want to learn Chinese on the internet, not at college.

3. Look for long tail keywords= buying keywords=money keyword

Great places to go to are:

  • Google wonder wheel: It shows you keyword ideas one after the other, with most relevant phrases or words related to your original searched keywords when you go deeper on your keyword search.
  • Merchant’s and competitor’s sites: Check the merchant’s and competitor’s sites for their keywords.  Evaluate these keywords and think about what the visitor’s intent when they type in these keywords.  Ask yourself if you have relevant content to help the visitors to find what they are looking for?

In summary

  • Understand what your visitors’ need; know what to offer and how to deliver it on your site.
  • Attract qualified visitors to your site with targeted keywords.
